The owner of a local hair salon wanted to have up to date photos of the salon not only for the website but because they also often entered National Salon Competitions. This meant that the images needed to convey the contemporary style of the salon as well as the buzzing atmosphere.
I made the series of photos when the salon was empty and also when it was busy. I photographed key staff members and created interesting images with the use of colour and black & white, so the essence of the premises and the business comes across to the viewer.
